Get FirefoxTake back the Web

Many of you may not know this but there are a variety of web browsers for you to choose from. The most common browser at the moment is Microsoft's Interner Explorer Internet Explorer (yuk!) but things are changing fast.
It is the most common browser for the sole reason that it comes pre-installed on MS Windows machines. But that does not mean it is the best!

Over the years Internet Explorer has become bloated with "fixes" and "add-ons" to plug up errors and hacks. It's like a middle-aged fat man trying to play football, wheezing and spluttering its way through the web. But there is a new browser out there that deserves to be mentioned, Firefox.

Firefox is like a new athlete fresh with youthfulness energy and vigour yet extremely well coded and solid. Fresh, clean code up to today's higher standards. No one is willing to put up with Microsoft's shite any more. Don't get me wrong, Microsoft was okay in the past (yeah rite thank god for Ctrl, Alt & Delete!), along with older versions of Netscape Navigator, but times change.

Mozilla Firefox is a multi award-winning web browser based on Netscape Navigator which some of you may have heard of. It is opensource and available free under GNU public licence.
Its extremely fast, clean and secure (much more so than Microsoft's IE). It has tabbed browsing allowing you to have multiple pages open in a single window. It has built in search engines for Google, Yahoo, Amazon and ebay and the option to add more if you wish.

One of the major advantages of switching to Firefox is the fact that the majority of viruses and pop-ups are written for Internet Explorer and thus will not affect Firefox which for all intents and purposes has been born "immune". For example, it has it's own built-in popup blocker.

Many people have already been converted, and if you are not using your work computer (thus not allowed) I would recommend installing this web browser.

It only takes a few minutes to install, is very user friendly and you will never look back. Honestly, it's that good!

You can learn more and download Firefox free from Mozilla's website or directly by clicking the get Firefox button at the top of the page.
